By Rhiannon 💕 It all started at a friend’s work event charmingly called a “Wiener Party.” No, not that kind—get your mind out of the gutter! It was a glorious celebration of brats and hot dogs. I didn’t know a soul there, but I was enjoying the company of some new faces when Jake sat across from me. The moment he did, I knew he was flirting—and it was absolutely adorable. At the time, I was in a very “I’ll be single forever” headspace (shoutout to all the single moms—was 7 years strong!). So what did I do? Naturally, I abruptly left. (We won’t go into why. Just trust me.) Jake, thinking he must’ve said something wrong, wasn’t ready to give up that easily. He found me on Facebook, added me, and—yes!—I messaged him first: “You found me.” From that moment, we’ve been inseparable. But wait—it gets better. Being the Disney nerd I am, we started watching Once Upon a Time together. And when Snow White looked at Prince Charming and said those exact same words—“You found me”—I may or may not have cried. Okay, I definitely cried. Jake and I are truly two peas in a pod. We laugh constantly, finish each other’s… sandwiches (Disney fans, you get it 😉), and always seem to know exactly what the other is thinking. Our perfect Mondays? FRIENDS reruns and a well-earned nap after a long weekend.

As I was invited to the annual Wiener party hosted by my good friends Sam and Craig, I planned on just another run of the mill party. Little did I know this year would change my life. As the day carried on all was normal, fun was being had, beer was being drank and wieners were being ate. As I moved about the crowd of people talking and laughing I noticed a beautiful women sitting at the kitchen table that I had yet to meet. I knew I had to sit down and meet her and shoot my shot. Little did I know the previous interactions that led to her pre mature departure. After having a great conversation I was devastated when she stood up and said, "speaking of awkward I'm leaving!" I was convinced it had been something on my part until I learned the full truth. Once I knew the whole story I knew I had to see her again! Through thorough detective work and a great memory I remembered who she came to the party with. A quick Facebook search and a click of the friend request icon and "I found her" to my surprise her first message was "you found me" from that moment on I knew it was a higher power guiding me along this path as it was the best decision I have ever made. From that day forward I couldn't imagine my life without Rhiannon. I had finally found my person and I can't wait to see what our future holds. I love you

Audrey, is my older sister who I've looked up to since I was a kid. The way she shows up for me, loves me and cares is beyond words! Kinsley was born on Audreys birthday so we hold a special bond. Can't wait for her to stand next to me when I say "I do" a day she's been waiting for!

Leila, is my beautiful niece. We've been close now for years! her impersonation of me is iconic and on point! Don't ask her to do it though, please I beg of you! Can't wait to have her standby my side because not only was I there to help raise her since a baby she has always and will continue having my back! Love you Lu!

I have known Shelby since she was just a small, precious soul. It's been a joy to watch her grow into the young women she is today. I've always considered her one of my own, just as I do all my other nieces and nephews. It means the world to me that she will be standing by my side as I marry Jake.

Anita came into my life unexpectedly. She became one of my best friends as quickly as Jake and I fell in love, HEY! When you know you know! I can't wait for Anita to be by my side because she's been extremely supportive, and I need someone to lay down the law when needed in during this next year. Love you girl!

Oh Sarah, where do I even begin? We go wayyy back. From the first time you did my hair to becoming one of my dearest friends. You've been there for so many unforgettable memories, endless laughter and more hangovers than I care to admit. LOL! 

Thank you for saying yes to standing beside Jake and me on our wedding day. It means the world to have you there. You're going to make the most beautiful bridesmaid, inside and out. Let the planning begin! Love you!

Will, is my best man because he just happens to be my favorite brother (only brother) and he's showing up to the wedding for Rhiannon so he keeps me on my toes. I'll never forget when I told Will she's no longer my girlfriend and he was about to lose it, only to come find it "She's not my girlfriend, she's, my fiancée." All jokes aside I love you brother and can't wait for you to be my best man! 

Will Veith 

Areny and I go way back, one of my first and closest brothers after joining the Army. He became a brother and like a third son to my family. Even though we lost touch for a period of time we re-connected, and I couldn't be prouder to have him standing by my side after all we have been through, I will just have to approve the stories he tells. ;)

Rancin Arney

Frank is one of my oldest friends and even though he moved thousands of miles away we're still friends. Can never forget the nights behind the chutes or the nights behind a car in a ditch in Alabama trying to get unstuck. Can't wait for you to be by my side buddy, cheers!

Gary is a groomsman because he has been there and supportive as a future brother-in-law from the beginning. He has been a guide for me as an inner part of navigating the family dynamics. He was the first to welcome me to the spaceship.

I asked Jett to be a groomsman because he brings a HUGE part to Rhiannon's family! I've heard nothing but great things! Can't wait for you to be by my side Jett. Rhiannon told me I need to write " Yetty bo Betty he is a little Metty" don't ask me why. Haha

Jeremiah is one of my Groomsmen because he has been supportive and on our side since day one. From welcoming me into the family to telling Rhiannon in secret not to mess this up. I am honored to have him by my side. Another part of the welcome team to the spaceship.

These little ladies may be small in size, but they play a BIG role in our big day! Instead of a traditional flower girl, we're having Kinsley and Rylynn walk down the aisle together carrying our rings- a small detail that means the world to us. 

Kinsley- The bride's daughter, will walk down the aisle as our ring barrier. With her love of Legos, she already understands how the smallest pieces come together to build something strong and beautiful, just like this marriage, where every piece fits perfectly. 

Rylynn- The bride's niece, will be our ring barrier as well. Spunky, expressive, and full of personality, she lights up every room- basically like a natural born actress! Don't be surprised if she steals the spotlight and starts her future YouTube channel right down that aisle.

Lily will walk side by side with Kinsley and Rylynn. We're so lucky to have her as a part of our wedding party, she's as cute as button making sure our rings get down the aisle safely. We love you Lily!

Jack will be our 'Flower Dude,' walking down the aisle tossing petals from a cowboy hat screaming "YEEHAW" with his signature spunky spirit. We're so excited to have him bring his fun energy to such a special moment.

Visiting Red Rocks Amphitheater is a memorable experience, and you're absolutely right- it's a bit of a hike to the top, so comfortable shoes are a must! The amphitheater is situated within Red Rocks Park, which offers several scenic trails, including the Trading Post Trail, a 1.7-mile loop that's relatively flat and perfect for a pre-show troll if y0ou decide to go to a concert. If you're a planning a picnic, you're welcome to bring your own food into the venue. However, if you'd prefer to dine nearby, Morrison and the surrounding areas offer a variety of excellent restaurants. Here are some top recommendations: Roof top Tavern is one of my favorites, kids are not allowed upstairs on patio. There's also Red Rocks Grill, Tap on the Rocks, and Hungry Goat Scratch Kitchen.

Some of the stores include Columbia, American Eagle, Sephora, Nike, Under Armour and the fragrance Outlet.
